PETENSHIRL AT WILSON'S PROM 2007
Some of the terrestrial orchids that we saw
We had a little trouble identifying some of these as taxonomists have been having a busy time of late. We did as best we could using Backhouse & Jeanes' "Orchids of Victoria"

Striped Greenhood. This was quite widely spread but this photo was taken at the junction of the Squeaky Beach and Tidal Overlook paths |

This could be either a Mayfly or Mosquito orchid. Our attempts to photograph Mayflies in full bloom were unsuccessful because the camera refused to manually focus properly. |
| This is a bit of a mystery. It could be a Tall Greenhood or it could be Tunstall's Greenhood or even the Green Striped Greenhood. All seem to be closely related. | ![]() |
