Stunt Kites
In 1988, when some friends from the USA visited, they brought along some large stunt kites. Since then,
I've been flying (and
collecting!) stunt kites in a pretty major way.
Although it's not as big a passion for me as my boomerangs, I have a few stunt kites in my collection,
which include Spin Offs, a
Prism
Eclipse, and couple of locally made delta and diamond stunt kites.
Eventually, I hope to make some stunt kites of my own design... I do enjoy battling with a large kite
in a decent blow... but I want to
try and make one that's also quiet and is small to transport.
In conjunction with the boomerangs, I have a couple of interesting and unusual sports I can follow in
most any weather. Now all I
need to work out is something I can easily do when it's pelting down with rain!
