To an observer, Christian Life Community probably seems a prayer space each fortnight to reflect on often busy lives. At a deeper level, CLC provides us with a method and a vision for responding daily to life's challenges and difficulties. The committed support of the members of the group, usually between 6 and 10 from all stages and walks of life, can be a great inspiration for us, especially through more difficult times. And the wider CLC community provides focus and perspective.
We are an international community (see separate diagram) that draws its spirituality from the Ignatian tradition. Through the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius, millions have come to a profound trust in the love of God. We learn that in spite of our weakness God calls us and sends us. With the Trinity we are invited to look upon our world and drawn to be part of God's own response to it in Jesus Christ.
