Mechanical Design We are using SolidWorks a parametric 3-D CAD system for solid modeling. Detailing information is generated automatically from the SolidWorks 3-D Model. Once the model has been completed, it is a precise simulation of all the components (plates, nuts, bolts, welds, etc.) which comprise the product. The structure actually exists, perfectly to scale, as a simulation inside the computer.
