RoomShaker
Tutorial:
Creating
A New Level
This Tutorial assumes that RoomShaker is setup correctly on your system See Tutorials: Setting up RoomShaker & POPLM.
This tutorial picks up from the new level parts 4, 5 & 6 tutorial and covers creating level-sets.
Part 6: Making the level-set
A level-set is a Prince of Persia levels file containing all 16 levels.
With your level saved, load the included Prince
of Persia Levels Manager (POPLM).
Note: RoomShaker has a link to POPLM on the toolbar, you can click this button
and POPLM will open up.

POPLM defaults to Update POP mode but we are going to create a new level set so we need to select Mode -> Create Levels Set from the main menu. This changes POPLM into level-set mode.

Using the drives & folders boxes, navigate to the folder that you want to save your level-set file in. I have selected the folder E:\RS149\LEVELS.

Allong the top of the form is the output folder, notice that is the same as the folder that I have selected with the drives & folders boxes?.
Type a file name in the box marked Output File Name. I have chosen the file name Tutorial.set, you don't have to add a file extension as POPLM's default extension is .set.

Notice that the folder name bar now includes this file name as well?. This line indicates the full path & file name of the output level-set file.
Make sure that the file in the box marked Input File Name is your Prince of Persia Levels.dat file, the default is the levels file defined in your RoomShaker Configuration file Files.ini.
In the box marked Levels File Description,
enter your name into the box marked Author. Enter RoomShaker
Tutorial into the box marked Description.
This information will be saved with your level-set file for POPLM to display
for reference.
Select Process -> Create Level Set. POPLM will create the level-set file allong with a description file. Now you are free to update your Prince of Persia with other level sets without losing your new level. See Tutorials: Updating Prince of Persia's Levels File
OK, thats the end of the tutorial. At this point you should be quite familliar with RoomShaker and basic POP Editing, try extending level 1 by adding more rooms, gates, button etc... with a bit of practice you will be able to make full levels in no time :)
