Claim The Most Land To Win!

Welcome to the offical Paddix page. Here you will find news and information on the computer version of the game “Paddix”.

Paddix is a small board-game where each of the two players claim land by building fences arround each of the areas (Paddocks) of the board, see “Rules” for playing information.

Getting Started:
Load Paddix and select New Game from the Game menu. In the New Game dialog box, select the amount of paddocks down (rows) and across (columns). Select the player colours and enter your name(s) into the Player Names boxes. Select OK and a new game begins.

Selecting Fences:
To select a fence double-click between the two posts that the fence is to be built between. See the help files that come supplied with Paddix for more information.

Based on Paddix V1.6; NetPaddix adds network support to Paddix, this version only supports network play and requires a network connection to be established between a server and client. NetPaddix comes equipped with help files to help guide you through setting up a connection and setting up your player details.
For convenience, I have also included the "Maximum Paddix" package which includes both Paddix V1.6 and NetPaddix V1.0.

Paddix V1.6 released today. Version 1.6 adds a new multi-select feature. To use the multi-select feature you need have a row of fences that you can build, this feature will stop building fences when the player changes.

V1.6 also adds a toolbar to access some of paddix's features.

24/9/2002:
Paddix V1.5 released today. Version 1.5 can be download from the downloads section, this new version is very similar to V1.4 except that V1.5 does not redraw the entire board when a fence is placed. Every time a fence was placed in V1.4 there would be a slight filcker which was very annoying.
